Great location and amazing host .

There was no wifi in the room. The signal was very bad in the room we were staying at.

We stayed at Rooms Marko Polo for 2 nights. Our room was an attic style room with a skylight (no window), not a problem because we were only using the room for sleeping, the room is easily adequate for a few nights stay stay. Outside the room, there's a shared terrace area that you can sit outside on, very tranquil even though you are just off the street. The place is only 10mins walk to the centre of the old town where you can catch busses to the airport and ferries to the islands, nice to stay in a quieter less touristy area but be able to be in the old centre easily and quickly. The restaurant (Restaurant Marko Polo) that the rooms are above is excellent, it has a real fire grill, honestly worth staying in the rooms just for the restaurant. The staff at the rooms and the restaurant are all lovely and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We would definitely return.

The place was so lovely! As soon as you step through the entrance, you are greeted by very idyllic surroundings, an incredibly beautiful and cozy courtyard, which is also where you can sit when you dine at their delicious restaurant. The room was nice and very professionally clean. The owner was incredibly sweet and helpful, and we felt very welcome. There was space to be ourselves, even on the shared balcony, which added to the coziness. The location is perfect, close to the old town and by the water. I can highly recommend this place!
