SaffronStays Casa Manga, Karjat - pet-friendly pool villa near ND's Film World and Saltt

Property location is good and secluded, away from all city noise. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the comfortable rooms, although a bit simple. However, the food was very tasty and the staff at the villa was quite warm and hospitable.

The rooms were clean and spacious, but a bit too simple.

The fresh home cooked meals served at the villa were delicious. The caretakers and staff were very helpful and accommodating. The entire setting is lovely. Its very quiet and peaceful. The pool, the mango orchards, the well maintained lawns.. we just loved it. Will surely book again.

The hospitality of the sales and reservation staff is not good. I was interacting with sales person called Ashish who told me multiple lies, with a primary aim to sell their meal plans and extract more money. I would not recommend this property to families since there are multiple hidden charges regarding meals and kitchen access. Their meal plan is highly overpriced and the sales staff (Ashish) created a big issue of kitchen access saying that it is not a part of property. Overall we had a very poor experience due to this attitude of sales staff even after paying for such expensive villa. Every little thing is overpriced and the property will find ways to charge you money for every aspect (e.g. we booked the entire vill but were asked to pay additional 1000/- per night if our driver wanted to sleep on the floor of common room). We, as a family, did not enjoy this stay. The rooms are small, very simple furnishing and the rooms don't even have a kettle (which is a standard offering in any hotel room). There are other good properties in the vicinity and hence, better to go for those. The overall experience of stay at this property was full of mental harrassment and I found the sales and reservation staff to be very argumentative for each point.

This villa is simply amazing! The pool is massive and we had a fun time here. The pitaara full of books was a heartfelt addition. I enjoyed reading them and reminiscing about the old days with my family. I will be planning a visit here soon.

The food, the hospitality and the premises were fantastic. Sonu, Pandu, Bhalu and team were very thoughtful and took good care of us. We were travelling with 5 seniors and a 1 year old baby, and were not expecting the level of comfort we experienced during our stay. The food was especially great, and they made every effort possible to take care of everyone's dietary needs.
