"Very Good"

Location was excellent, room was small but clean and nicely decorated. Good big wardrobe and good shower. It also had a fridge and a coffee room upstairs with a nice balcony.

Its a bit on the small side and lacks any wow factor but its too be expected for such a good location.

"Not a place that I would go back to."

Well located for rambling around this part of Lisbon.

They do not have a 24 hour front desk and we arrived very early in the morning on a transatlantic flight (many do). So we waited at a nearby hotel for 2 hours (the Alegria) who took pity on us - we were obviously exhausted. The room was very small. We were checking out on a day with a national strike and the front desk staff arrived late which meant that we had to bring our bags back to our room, after schlepping them downstairs, and we had a tight schedule that morning for a tour and a rendezvous with a bus pick up. All in all there were too many negatives to make it a good option.

Lokalizacja to najmocniejszy punkt

W pokoju była bardzo duża wilgoć, czuć było nieprzyjemny zapach. Był sprzęt który miał ją pochłaniać ale moim zdaniem nie działał. Dodatkowo pokój, który dostaliśmy był na parterze, na przeciwko restauracji. Do późnych godzin było słychać głośne rozmowy i przez uchylone okno wchodził dym z papierosów

The only positive aspect of my stay was the location, which was convenient for visiting the city.

Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. Before arrival, I was not informed that the room was located on the ground floor, nor that it had an unusual layout with the shower and sinks inside the sleeping area instead of in a proper separate bathroom. I was told that a message had been sent to inform me, but I never received it, as I showed the receptionist. Furthermore, no confirmation or acceptance of this room was ever received from me. The cleanliness standards were also disappointing and did not justify the price paid. The room was made available approximately one hour later than the official check-in time, without any clear communication or apology for the delay. Upon arrival, the towels provided were only for one person, despite the reservation being for two guests. The room was not cleaned after the first night, which further affected the overall quality of the stay. What I found most concerning was the way the compensation was handled. I was offered €30 and was told that, in order to receive this compensation, my Booking.com review should be at least 7/10. This made me feel uncomfortable, as guest reviews should reflect their genuine experience and should not be influenced by compensation arrangements. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of transparency, the room conditions, the cleaning standards, and the way my complaint was managed.
