Alfama Guest House

Location was good for ones who like to party, although very noisy on June's party week. Price was cheap.

It's completely dirty. This place should not be a guest house. It looks like they've never vacuum cleaned any of the rooms. I was completely disgusted by the room. It was a cheap room so I was not expecting much, I was expecting something very simple, maybe noisy since it was on a busy street, small and a hard bad. But not something completely dirty. There was no one to receive us in the guest house, we had to call a random number, they explained nothing to us, received us and in less than 1 minute were out again. Front door key didn't work when we were arriving back after midnight, we could have been locked out if it wasn't for another guest arriving at the same time as us. There was black mold in the room and it smelled like cigarretes. Bathroom was cleaner than expected considering the state of the room and the house, but the common areas such as the kitchen was disgusting. Floors completely dirty and there was pretty much nothing to properly cook.

Towels with holes, bathroom, kitchen and room totally dirty, they even clean it once a week. Totally disgusting

I texted in the morning about my flight, arriving at 11pm, and he agreed to wait. I tried to get to the property fast but GPS sent to me to another location and the guy texting me that he will no wait to me, I was going to stay alone in the night, a girl??? I could not find the property on time and he left me in the street. Next morning he texted to call to booking and cancel my booking, he said my checking was the day before, so I phoned booking they tried to allocate to me in another place, so I needed to pay the difference. Surely because this guy was told that my money will pay another place, he texted to me and told me that I could do the checking still. He wanted to keep my money for the cancellation and rent the room again, but as he couldn't, he had to accept to me. Facilities totally disgusting, dirty, with no soap either for the kitchen...towels with holes....horrible experience. They don't care about anything, only the money....

They message me in my arrival day that they can not help me for my check in after midnight which I was arrival. I checked their critics through system and seen that they are also not clean and not really nice place to stay so I made another booking and didnt go to their place

Locatie en prijs waren top! De eigenaar was ook hulpvaardig. Had een erg rustige kamer aan de achterzijde van het huis! Met uitzicht op een tuin!

De douche en toilet kunnen ze beter onderhouden! Deze was erg slecht onderhouden. Was allemaal een beetje vuil! Maar verder goed hoor! Bedden en zo!
