Location & Vibe: The location is incredibly convenient for walking, just a 7-minute stroll to the center of Mestia. I absolutely love this spot because of how peaceful it is—instead of city noise or traffic, you are surrounded by the soothing sounds of the river and birdsong. Sitting on the sofa, you can take in a gorgeous view of most of the town. **I also happened to meet two guests who played the piano, and I was treated to some exceptionally beautiful melodies. Room & Price: I booked a private single room for 160 GEL (around 407 RMB) for 4 days. It was exceptionally clean and tidy, deeply reflecting the authentic local village style. Highly recommended! Art & Decor: The house has a wonderful artistic aesthetic, decorated with beautiful paintings, an elegant wooden piano, and centuries-old antique furniture. Overall, it’s just fantastic. Facilities & Privacy: There are three shared bathrooms for guests, which is more than enough. The guests stay on the upper floor while the host family lives downstairs, ensuring excellent privacy. Host & Tours: The host can personally guide you on a glacier hike or drive you to Ushguli. (I negotiated a price of 100 GEL for the drive. You can mention my recommendation when booking, and it will be even cheaper if you carpool with others.) Food & Hospitality: The hostess, Nina, is lovely. She prepares a very generous and hearty breakfast for 25 GEL. Her homemade sauces are so delicious I wanted to take them home with me! The portion is super filling and absolutely worth trying.

There is big beautiful yard by the river with hammock, swing and a big rock, I stayed there the whole day!

Fantastic location not directly in the town centre but close by. The cats were great company, the house and the garden was also really nice. Nothing to complain about.

Really cosy, homely feel. The room was lovely, with nice wood ceiling and stone walls. It even had some fairy lights! We chose the 3 person room, it was a big room and overall good choice. Hosts were kind and generous. The cats were cute. Lovely shared balcony with amazing view!

The room wasn't ready at the check in time and I was so tired from travelling I just wanted to rest! Also no mirrors in the room. The shared bathrooms were hostel vibes but did the job and the floors were constantly wet so bring sliders/flip flops!
