Guest House Nanu

We are so lucky we found this place for our stay in Mestia. The hosts are incredible, the breakfast was delicious and the general atmosphere is exactly what you need for your holiday in Svanetia. The rooms are newly renovated and it's super clean! I also liked the softness of the bedding. We thank Nanu and Tamaz for they warmth and we hope we will come back here soon again! And do try Tamaz's cognac which was fantastic.

Great hosts! Made us feel at home right away. They were helpful with guests with navigating around Svanetia and recommending places to go. We were offered tea, coffee, brandy and chacha almost every opportunity. The brandy and chacha were home made by one of the hosts and was delicious. Breakfast was huge and had a great variety. The room was modern, clean and came with a private bathroom. A very comfortable retreat when staying in Mestia.

We had the most wonderful time! Nanu and her husband were incredibly welcoming and kind. The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal and so filling, we didn’t even need to eat lunch. The view is beautiful, we enjoyed sitting on the covered patio and reading. She helped us get a wonderful driver to go to Ushguli and even had a friend drive us to our shared transfer pick up so we didn’t have to walk 10 mins with all of our bags. They also were constantly offering tea, chacha and homemade cognac which were delicious. Absolutely wonderful and highly recommended. I would definitely come back!

An amazing place, near the center of Mestia, well-kept and beautiful, the most comfortable beds we slept on in Georgia, the rooms are very spacious. The guesthouse has everything you need - washing machine, fridge, kettle, stove, heater, dining room and more. The owners of the guesthouse are amazing, always helping with everything, they were just like mother and father and took care of us, and you can really see that they care about you having a good time and enjoying your stay. We recommend everyone to come and visit this guesthouse without thinking twice. We will definitely be back again!

Tomas was a super host, even without speaking English, his kindness and friendliness cross any language barriers

All was very good!

Superb owners, warm welcoming, you should try breakfast because you will not get better around. Local konjak is the best we have ever tried! :) highly recommend to stay and visit Ushguly and the mountains around.

there is no central heating, electric heaters are used instead.

I came here again and again i have to say that Tamaz and Nanu are the best hosts in Georgia for me. It's always like visiting aunt and uncle, just family members. If you dont know someyhing, they will just call somwhere and get know about everything. About guesthouse...: It's a place located 3 min walk from main square, where marshrutkas stop and start. It's always clean, warm (during cold season) and tasty. Beds are very comfortable, there is always hot water. You have to try Tamaz's chacha and Nanu's breakfasts. I recommend this place.
