Guest House Adelina

Adelina is a very kind host. A sweet lady, who made sure my stay was comfortable, gave me access to the kitchen to cook. And also offered apples from her garden, which were very tasty. She also cooks meals on request, I tried the millet bread with cheese which was absolutely yummy. The location is close to the centre, and the place is clean with all the needed facilities at that price.

Adelina was very hospitable. She even invited me for dinner with her family since I was travelling alone. She's an excellent chef. The location of the guest house is perfect as it is close to a supermarket, the marashutaka/bus station to go downhill and uphill to ushguli. But also the cable car is really close by. Though, it is on aire quiet road than the town itself. The Garden has a few hammocks and the room is perfectly fitting for wither one or two. We definetely come again. :)

The location is fine. The value for money is ok-ish. Its cheaper on Booking.com than on site (however you must show the confirmed price from Booking.com, otherwise you will be charged with the higher price).

The price is not high, so you could quite expect it, but the guesthouse facilities are generally worn out. The shower was almost not draining and the toilet was leaking. Lock for our room was broken - however our group has two rooms, so we managed to lock the whole entrance to both of the rooms to keep our things safe. But when we were leaving, the hostess asked if everything was OK, so we informed her about the broken lock, so that next guest won't encounter it. But she then started to accuse us of damaging the lock (even though the lock was obviously already broken even before we first tried to use it) and threaten us with police. This was really unfair and unpleasant experience (amplified with language barrier), because we are honest guest and we would not try to hide such damage if we caused in any way. So this left us with really mixed feelings.

Very clean and comfortable to stay. I really enjoyed staying here really near to city center and everything necessary is 5 min walk distance.

Location is not bad, it is quiet place to relax and you have balcony and kettle with cups/plates to have some food.

It was dirty. I needed to ask to change bedsheets as there was hair and smell from previous guest. The toilet and floor were dirty. Bed is not comfortable. Room and house is old and not cozy.
