The location: you feel part of the land, great facility and allow you to breath The welcoming: such a nice family and especially Akko, he knows alot in the area, very friendly and can be your head up guide. The food was all fresh, hand made and delicious. Superb. Highly recommend

Great place and hosts

We were hiking and en route to Ushguli when we passed through so liked that the property was outside town, preserving the village feel that characterises most of the stays on the hike. The bright lights of Mestia are still walkable (or it’s easy to hitch) though. The breakfast was excellent and ample, and the staff were overall very friendly. They make their own Cha Cha etc, which you can try (and was very smooth).

One thing to bear in mind is that dinner isn’t always available. We confirmed we wanted it on the second night but apparently needed to re-confirm the next morning; in the end we had to go into town both nights when we’d much rather have eaten at the guesthouse. I also strongly advise to take a private bathroom room (downstairs). The upstairs shared bathroom was in almost constant use one night, with many a banging door quite late. I had the impression guests who were camping might also be using it but am not sure.

Very nice and quiet place - further from the road. Perfect if you are willing to relax :) There is also a place in garden to make bbq/fire if you will to.

Last 200 meters of the road might be tricky - steep hill with no apshalt, however its not a big issue

People were very nice with us, they also help us arranging the 4*4 vehicles to Usghuli and served us dinner and breakfast which were pretty good (we also asked for napkins and ended up taking breakfast with us for the day out!). They also let us use the washing machine. There is also à beautiful space above the hill where to enjoy à super view of the starring sky at night!

It is quite up the hill, so once you are there, you rather don't take your car and eat there. Also, in the summary description of the rooms it was not so évident that the double rooms would share the bathroom: you have to click individually on the room to read it. As I did à booking for 12 people I did rely on the summary which didn't mention it so we had 6 people in the morning to share the same bathroom and didn't plan for it. Though they were very nice people and offered a discount. I mean, if you don't have a problem with sharing the bathroom then yes I would recommend it as people really deserve to have guests. Such lovely people!

The place has beautiful setting and surrounding. The owners are very nice people, both dinner and breakfast super delicious and big. It is very relaxing place to stay in especially after days of hiking. Would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful, big garden to relax; we could do our laundry for free; breakfast and dinner were good value for money
