"Quaint hotel close to the beach"

We had a relaxing time at Ondo House! The pool was the perfect size and temperature. The location was perfect, walkable to the beach and restaurants. Hassan and his brothers made us feel welcome.The food was great and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Even though we had an early flight, Hassan made sure we had a breakfast to go.

Staff very friendly and professional They helped us to deal with the tours, taxi drivers, which was very helpful. I found this hotel last minute and I dont regret. Location only 2 minutes walking from the beautiful beach, and a lot of restaurants.

The proximity to the beach

Ok so here goes. When we arrived the swimming pool wasn't even half full for a start Day 2 we went to the room during late afternoon and there was an Infestation of maggots all over the bathroom floor .so straight away I asked to see the manager .They did treat it but 1 day later the maggots turned to flies in the bathroom which was disgusting...2 days later still the same problem!!!!!!. When the manager was away the Barman ABDULAH believe it or not asked me for money for food for his family, education and medical bills...This was the final straw . We checked out of the hotel 5 days early and demanded a refund ......ONDO HOUSE SAID THEY CANNOT GIVE REFUND BECAUSE OUR MONEY HAD ALREADY BEEN SPENT ON RENOVATION TO THE HOTEL .Absolutely disgusting unprofessional behaviour and very poor management, they do not deserve any business at all ......Please for hygiene reasons stay away from this place . If you read the facilities it says hot tub , there isn't one . Children's play area there isn't one . So much false misleading information , they should be ashamed of themselves

Staff were super friendly. When they found out that im interested in local food, they make a local dish on request. It was amazing!

There is a mosque near by, and you can hear „chanting” at 5 am…
