Lucernaio Rooms are close to the centre of Ragusa Ibla, run by an extremely friendly and helpful local couple. Danila and Gianni also run a fantastic pub by the same name a short distance away. The rooms are around a large kitchen and communal space which has just about everything you would normally find in a kitchen. A balcony looks out towards one of the surrounding hillsides, facing south. I stayed in late March 2023, before the summer heat built up.

From the time the hosts collected me from the bus station and gave me a quick tour of the town, I knew I would be in good hands for the next few days. Once I arrived at my room, I was correct and the accommodations didn't disappoint. Just about everything you want and need was available from the location, cleanliness, size of the bathroom and amenities. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Because the room is basically in a cave, the internet was very spotty.

It was an absolute delight to stay here, the host is a warm, hospitable woman who assisted me with parking and settling in on arrival. There are all the facilities needed for a traveller, and they are not only clean, they are also just lovely from the tiles in the bathroom to the gorgeous bare white stone roof. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay, great value value for money; I highly recommend Lucernaio Rooms.

cute b&b, the room was clean and spacious, and the terrasse really nice in the morning. the owner of the place helped us park in a free parking close by :)

it’s in the perfect location close to Piazza Duomo, modern and comfortable. The hosts are very thoughtful and helpful, I got some good local tips on where to go and what to see.

Nothing to dislike, I want to go back in future. Be aware that there’s a flight of steps leading to the house but there are steps everywhere in Ragusa Ibla!
