Mrs Helena is very helpful, she explained everything to me on arrival. I stayed only one night and the place had very few customers so I guess I was very much at ease. I could park the car inside the premises. The location is excellent. There is a restaurant 200 metres to the right with excellent roasted chicken.

Absolutely loved the mom at the front desk. She's a little strict with the rules but for good reason, it's to make sure your experience is wonderful. Just as long as you pay attention and you are considerate of others, you'll really enjoy this hostel. Everything was honestly wonderful but when I went, there were barely any people which was a great thing for me coming from a month of travelling in a bunch of very social hostels. The people I did meet were very friendly. Her english isn't the best but she was still very accommodating. I'd definintely go back given the opportunity. I'd choose this place over somewhere in Portimao or Faro or whatever.
The beds were a little stiff for me but honestly, I'm just a little picky to be honest lol
