Location very good. Mattress was hard, which I personally liked

Communication a bit complicated as reply’s are only in Portuguese. Also bathroom/furniture overall old, which fits to the house itself but of course it should then also be clean. Especially the shower was very dirty/mouldy (check pic). You can hear a lot from the other rooms or when someone is in the bathroom next to the room.

A lovely little place containing all the rustic charm of an old house. Basic but very Portuguese.

Air con didn't work but a fan was provided and I could open the shutters.

Wonderfully central location, beautiful rooftop, antiquated style of rental.

Unfortunate interaction with the owner who was not only rude, but cruel and exacting in a moment of need (I had been robbed and was awaiting an overnight transfer of funds to pay them) despite me suggesting many alternatives and doing everything in my power to problem solve in a foreign country with zero alternatives or support. I did not appreciate being public ally chastised due to her bad night. Thank god for her sister who calmed her down and it was resolved easily (as I knew it would be and had assured them) the following morning when the banks opened. I understand people take advantage, but I was not, and yet suffered the anger and wrath of this woman on their behalf. Hospitality is a word that has meaning to some, but I didn’t not feel that here and it caused my trip to end on a very sour note. Unfortunate all around.

Very clean and comfortable place!

Fantastic location, excellent value for money. Bedroom with private en-suite, and air conditioning unit, shared kitchen area with all kitchen appliance’s, nice private garden area. Staff very nice and helpful.

Shower had no above head holder and was a bit dated, but no real issues to us.

Size too small should clean shower smelly loo

Amazing location and lovely garden to relax in. So clean and quiet. Restaurant downstairs was nice.

Beds a bit hard.

It was very hot in the room and the air conditionning was noisy and not powerfool enough to keep the temperature cool.
