Vitina's little house

The house is in a quite area and within minutes you are in the center of Vitina where all the restaurants, shops, cafeterias and souvenir shops and many more. Nikos was a very nice host and very polite. Every time that I called him he was glad to give me the proper information. I am looking forward for my next trip. Thank you Nikos.

There is nothing positive to write about this place Except for the fact that we didn't need to sleep on the street

You don’t want to make this mistake! This place is unfit for human habitation. We were couple of friends who hiked the Menalon Trail for 8 days. We booked 9 different nights and all were excellent except for this one. Along with my review here, I also submitted an official complaint for booking.com. Such an event mustn’t happen to other guests, And certainly not in a respectable company like booking.com. We have never met the owner of the property, he is simply hiding. He charges the cost of the accommodation in advance (because canceling with Booking.com after payment is a complicated thing). True... in this village there are other accommodations, and apparently, we could have chosen something else. (Higher ranking). But unfortunately for us, on the day we needed the accommodation, there was a wedding event in the village, and most of the BB were fully occupied. That's why we had to settle for accommodation with a rating of 7.4 We arrived at the place in the afternoon (we were hiking and can’t jump to another village). We received a text message from the owner that the key was in a jar by the door. The place looks horrible from the outside, a real ruin. Of course, there was no key in the jar. I called the owner who promised that someone would arrive in five minutes. After waiting for about an hour, a lady arrived who does not speak any language except Russian (we are in Greece) She opened the door for us and disappeared almost running. Inside everything is dirty, broken, full of insects. The first insect I met was a scorpion. A few millipedes were observed after him, and a few cockroaches. It was so disgusting that we used sleeping bags we happened to have so as not to touch the sheets. The place is not at all similar to the one advertised on the booking.com site. It is filthy, full of mold, and as in the title: Not suitable for human habitation.
