"Lovely place to stay"

Lovely room with lots of lovely extra added touches.... biscuits, bottled water, juice, tea and coffee and porridge. Parking is also a huge bonus.

Stayed at number 33 weekend on arrival everything was spot on details given for arrival where excellent .room was clean comfortable little extras like porridge pots biscuits cold drinks in fridge was very nice touch lots of tea coffee available .lots of spacious parking we had a lovely time staying here definitely recommend anyone staying Whitby to stay there we definitely stay there again very soon. We where able to leave car on premises next morning while walk round Whitby again thank you harry n Joanna .

No fuss check-in and very happy to accommodate an earlier check-in. Have stayed here before so the fact we returned says something. Ideal for a short break. Note, room only, no breakfast as stated by owner. It is up a hill from town centre if that would be an issue for anyone.

Slight road noise at front of property but not a problem over night.

"Much better than I expected"

Room very clean and well decorated. The shower was excellent, and hot. Towels fluffy and soft. We liked the fridge with water and soft drinks, plenty of tea and coffee available to help ourselves. Room downstairs so easy to get to. We liked that there was free parking on site, a rarity in Whitby

The bed was very soft and “spongy”, but that’s a personal preference. We prefer a firmer mattress. The property was a distance from the centre of Whitby, about 15 minutes walk up the hill, but a pleasant walk through Pannet park.
