Wonderful location next to the Danube. Swimming pool. Other visitors were very friendly.

I paid for a room for two with TV, Air conditioning. Was given a room which just fitted a bed. The electrical sockets didn’t work. The shower was in an outbuilding dirty and tatty. My messages to the host were ignored. There was a party with loud music around the pool until 3.00.

Horrible ! La musique jusqu'à minuit, les chiens jusqu'à 3 heures du matin, une chaleur dans la chambre (pas de climatisation, pas de ventilateur. On a été malade du repas du doir comme d'autres.

Great location on the Danube and good overnight stop on Eurovelo 6. Friendly owner.

We did this on the EV. The location is right at the end of the village. The place has a lot of potential, and I think depends entirely on who else is staying there. It's kind of like a very compact motel around a pool so if you got quiet people it's going to be quiet and peaceful, if not then not. When we arrived the other guests were playing fesitval volume level music, the owner was very nice and helpful and told them to turn it down, and it wasn't too bad, but one can't help feeling like something of a party pooper in this situation.

The location is nice just above the Danube at one end of Ostrov, where there is little other accommodation.

The toilet and basin are in the shower cubicle, the place is very old and I was the only person staying in mid-June as it is out-of-season. There was nowhere around to buy food and water that I could pay for with a card; none available at the accommodation, although the proprietor did try to help giving a partially used bottle of her own. The outside of the window to my room was really dirty, and swimming pool covered in insects, but it was out of season and cleanup had started so it would improve, Im sure.
