Pension Vogtländer

A very special small hotel in Plauen. There are teddy bears everywhere, at the entrance, in the reception, in the rooms, and in the breakfast room too, it's very charming. The owner couple are very nice and friendly and they speak english. There are only a few rooms in this house-hotel but each one of them is uniquely designed and decorated. My room was very spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast is good, there is a little bit of everything, warm bread rolls, some cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, and a very nice and extensive jam selection. On request a fried egg can be ordered which was good and tasty. The hotel is 3 tram stops from the main train station, and a couple more from the city center, so even it is not located there, the center can be reached relatively easily. A little gift at check-in and check out were also a very nice touch. Overall a very recommended place to visit.

Loved the style and the atmosphere of the place!

Unfortunately, the bed was a bit uncomfortable and my neck aches from the pillows.
