I am outraged to the lies stated on the owners reply. Upon receiving this reply I went to the local police to report this couple and start a defamatory process against them, I also wanted a legal advice from a local Dublin solicitor, and this is the only reason I have not replied since Monday. Clarification: I paid the full amount of the two nights, and when I questioned why where they trying to impose more charge they become agressivo and spoke horribly about the Portuguese government and it’s laws. I was only able to collect the keys after 20 minutes to 9pm from a lady whom seen to understand that I had forgotten my bag with my password 5 minutes away in my brothers house, I arrived in Lisbon on Friday night and we went to Alentejo to celebrate my brothers birthday with the kids; however 5 minutes after we entered the room the couple knocked at the door and for nearly ten minutes, the man ranted and agressivo spoke to me and the lady, this made me feel very unsafe, their were just next door to the room myself n my children were, do understand I miss read their advertisement not realizing I was only booking bed and a shared shower. We couldn’t use a living room nor the hallway; the room didn’t even have a kettle to prepare tea. Upon my return to the room where the kids were laying on the bed, they were just as scared as I was, they asked “are we going to stay here mum? This people are scary” I called [link removed]and spoke with the agent called Rheydene and explained the situation, in fear of this couple reactions we left the place, without using anything in the property, an email was sent from me to the [link removed]agent to inform him we had left and I send pictures to prove our existing. I have all communication in record. I am a guest service manager in Staycity aparthotel in Dublin, previously worked at the Clayton Hotel as night assistant manager, I’ve worked in the Mayson hotel too.
