Das Treppenhaus war vollkommen verwahrlost und im Eingangsbereich voller Müll.

I was very surprised when I first arrived as it was in a street with very old buildings and it didn’t look like there was anything there but workhouses I opened the door and entered the very old building second floor, two flights of stairsand then I went into the apartment section where it was extremely clean brand-new very welcoming very then went into my room which was exceptionally clean modern comfortable I couldn’t have asked for better.

I paid very little extra to have a deluxe king-size room and it was smaller than my colleagues room which was a standard room and It didn’t have a bigger bed than hers but I was happy just the same.

The interior, bathroom, the proximity to restaurants and city center. Coffee maker in the room with capsules was also appreciated.

The area is dodgy, with bad smell of fish, streets are covered with fish scales, and there is an abandoned warehouse along the whole street that makes you wonder if this is the ghetto or the center of Rijeka. It looked so scary, that my kids did not want to get out of the car. Then the entrance was all moldy and walls falling apart. Maybe a flood destroyed the ground floor, but if the property is rented via booking, it should meet some minimal requirements. Another problem was the communication to get into the rooms. I called a number provided with the booking just to ask about parking and I was told someone will contact me. The instruction on how to get in must have been sent via Whatsapp, but we do not use this app and thus we waited at the door for someone to assist with our arrival for a good while. I was in such a distress, I shut the outside door in the face of other people. After the arrival ordeal, the lack of view was the last thing I cared about but worth mentioning the view is a facade and windows 2 meters apart.
