Atlanta Unit 1 Room 3 - Cheerful Private Bedroom & Bathroom

The location was great and close to every attraction I wanted to visit.

The house was freezing. So while tucked into bed under covers I was still freezing. The first day I was there I was startled when I walked in and saw two women doing laundry. On the 3rd night the owner came in to ask from the stairs how everything was. I'm used to a hotel or motel and not having people pop up unexpectedly. I'm a solo traveler so I have my guard up about everything. It's his house so he has the right to come and go as he pleases. It's just not for me because it made me feel uncomfortable.

Loved the location near the bus to everything - aircon worked amazingly. Bed very comfy and was nice to have a tv in the room too.

There was no duvet cover on the duvet when we arrived - was okay though there was a cupboard with sheets in.

Nothing was good about this experience.

This property scammed me. Within 15m of arriving, I messaged the owner to ask why the bathroom was locked and if someone could come down and check it. I waited 10m as I had just come in from 12 hours of travel and badly needed the bathroom. Then I messaged them again, saying that if I didn't hear back I would need to get another accommodation. I waited again and then checked out and paid for an entirely new and unbudgeted hotel room. An hour after I'd already left and checked into the new accommodation, I finally receive a response on the message saying that I should have called the number. They then preceded to ignore Booking's customer service call that same evening but still continue to message me on chat. I asked them to respond to the inquiry and give me a refund and they stopped responding until the day that would have been my check-out to send a "thank you for staying with us". Petty doesn't even begin to describe this. Luckily, I took screenshots of the chat AND a video of the locked bathroom (with no key pad or code around it) because I just knew that some nonsense like this would happen. Can't upload the video here obviously but I'll also say I'm extremely disappointed in Booking's customer service who apparently didn't try hard enough and didn't reach out to me as promised to get the footage. I will be appealing their decision. For everyone else, please be ware of staying this fraudulent property.

The room was great, it's the same of the picture. Everything was fine.
