Everything, beautiful guesthouse, lovely, helpful owner, clean, spacious rooms, large comfy bed. All good!

Nothing... all good, shame they don't do breakfast and that's the only reason not to give a score of ten BUT was aware of that when booking so can't complain !

The position regarding being not to far from the town centre. Nice room nice and quiet etc.

The secure key entrance I'm not used to them.i know it's not possible but breakfast would be fantastic.

Not as advertised. No seating area, no closet, no soap. 2 steps to fall down before you reached the light switch. Very impersonal. Didn't see a single person during our stay. No leaflets or brochures for visitors. Lock box was in disrepair.

Beautiful room, well equipped for a nights stay. Had everything we needed. Would stay again. Clean, comfy and warm.

Only thing we didn’t like was the noise of the cars (not the properties fault at all). It’s on a main road so it was quite loud. Also we were in the attic room which altho was lovely, if you like it really dark to sleep, the apex windows have a frosted glass type cover which still lets in a lot of light at night. Not an issue for me but was for my husband

The location is close to the town centre..clean room apart from the stagnant smell

On arrival to the guest house we found that room 2 key box was open and keys were missing..we were told by the host that she had forgotten to leave the key so we were supposedly upgraded to front room 1 which was horrendous due to the traffic noise due to poorly fitting windows..there was also a stagnant smell but we were able to overcome this with some air freshener.. the next morning at 10.25am we messaged the host about our concerns and asked for a room change but was told hotel was full..we went out for the day but due to fatigue we came back at around 4.30pm to try and catch up on sleep to go out on the night but once again the traffic noise was unbearable..we decided at 6.15pm to leave and not stay for 2nd night and drive home..we informed the host but recieved no response..as we were leaving a young couple were entering room 1 our original rear room and they told us they had only booked the room an hour earlier so why were we lied to and why couldn't we have room 1..we informed booking.com and a response from the host was recieved the day after to say because we had informed her at 10.25am and not 10am and the hotel was at max which we know wasn't true then no refund could be given even tho at no point we didn't ask for a refund..very unprofessional poor service and to say we should have known when booking that the hotel is next to a busy road is silly as not all guest houses have very poor windows so it spoilt our short break and won't be staying here again and hope when people do decide on this guest house that you don't book rooms 2 and 4 at the front

I needed a place to crash at short notice after a very demanding day attending a festival and not wishing to drive home late at night over the moors in the dark. Wendy was very helpful with an early check in .parking space at the school was also a bonus.

Nothing it was exactly what I needed.
