The host were very welcoming and friendly. Room is spacious and clean.

The refrigerator unit next to the building was noisy and a fan would have helped for ventilation

"Comfortable stay in a classy and secured homestead in walking distance of restaurants."

A classy venue with clean rooms and bathrooms. Very friendly hosts. Secure parking for my vehicle behind a locked gate. In walking distance of several restaurants. Also ideal for a family stayover. Our stay was completed with an excellent breakfast.

Not much. As in most towns in South Africa, crime is prevalent, but the venue and my vehicle was well secured.

"Une gueshouse où on se sent comme à la maison"

Un grand merci à Johnno et Maya pour leur accueil, leur hospitalité, et leur sens du partage. Tout est fait avec le cœur. Aussi bien le cottage récemment refait à neuf et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, que le petit déjeuner préparé par Maya avec des produits locaux et fait maison. Un régal !  Johnno s'est même proposé pour nous aider à la préparation du barbecue. On a donc passé un vrai moment de partage. Des hôtes adorables avec qui on se sent comme en famille. Merci également pour les conseils de Johnno pour les visites sur la suite de notre voyage.

Such warm hospitality. John and Maya are so friendly and full of great tips for local attractions. The room was quiet and the bed super comfortable. We had a great breakfast...with home made bread and croissants!! Thank you for a lovely stay.

A charming historic property, furnished with equally historic pieces set in a historic town. Breakfast was excellent and the Guesthouse is positioned within easy access to the interesting sites. Some people seem so well suited to hosting. Jonno and Maya are two such, nothing is too much trouble.

"Best BnB"

Wonderful BnB is a cute small town with restaurants, arts, and multiple small shops.Hosts Jono and Maya were friendly, engaging and just a delight to chat with. Room was spectacular, 1850's building thats been completely restored. Landscaping very nice with great kitchen garden and wonderful patio area. Breakfest was great, literally everything on the table, from bread and jams to granola was made by Maya. One of our favorite stays ever. We will be back.

There are absolutely no "cons" to this place.
