Alunis is a beautiful mountain village full of history and incredible surroundings to discover and visit. The Retreat is the best accommodation one can hope for in this magical place. Friendly hosts, amazing food, a peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and comfortable beds - all I needed for a great vacation!

Beautiful and serene escape nestled deep in the forest. Although accessible only by a small road, reaching it was no problem at all. The setting is absolutely magical. The food was just amazing for my husband and I, both vegetarians, we had delicious options that truly impressed us. The staff were mainly local women with big smiles who made us feel welcome and cared. We found it to be excellent value for money, especially with the generous buffet-style meals, that again we truly enjoyed :) The house red wine was dry and very enjoyable.

The view is astonishing!!! Food ok (not more) Hot tub is a lot of fun- need to book in advance

There is problem with the water Very stinky and be careful- don't shower with jewelry!!! The water will make them black (both gold and silver)

Beautiful surroundings, peaceful; employees were kind and warm, food delicious

Too expensive

The place is pastoral. The owner is very nice and responsive. He waited for us and helped us with the luggage. There are at least 2 resident cats. One of them spent the night in our room.

No vegan milk at breakfast. Tap water is not for drinking. It is rich in sulfur and has an odor.
