Alles wat in de beschrijving staat klopt niet. Er is geen airco. Wastafel is niet aangesloten op riool, het loopt zo op de vloer. Geen stopcontacten naast het bed. Het was niet goed schoon. Vervolgens een scooter gehuurd voor een belachelijke prijs, maar dan kom je terug om te gaan afrekenen en willen ze het dubbele bedrag en probeert je gewoon op te lichten. Ook de rooftopbar is erg onveilig. Ik ben zelf door het de vloer heen gezakt. Al met al ga hier niet heen!

Staff were so happy and helpful ! The place is beautiful ! It’s in the works but this will be one of the best places to stay in Lombok

Comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom felt spacious. Location of bar gives pleasant views of the mountain. Overall we had a great stay and would return.

Booking.com details need to be updated: There is no air conditioning (in June this wasn't a problem; the fan was fine); and they changed their email so didn't get my request for twin room (though they did arrange a swap at check in). Needs some maintenance, especially on the lovely deck where some planks have large holes rotted. Our room was missing the mirror.

Great place to stay in Sensru , staff and food amazing

I really wanted to love Villa Bambu. The photos show such a beautiful, peaceful spot — and from the outside, the property really does look incredible. You can tell that at one point, someone put real care into building something special here. But unfortunately, that care hasn’t been maintained, and it shows. The bungalows are in rough shape. Ours felt dark, musty, and neglected — we ended up laying towels over the pillows and sleeping in our clothes. You get just the basics: a bed, a fan, ONE outlet, a toilet, sink, and a shower head. There’s nowhere to hang your things, no mosquito net (even though bugs come in easily through gaps in the walls), and no way to charge your phone and use the fan at the same time. Despite what’s advertised, there’s no Wi-Fi or air conditioning — and the bungalows get really hot and humid during the day. Sound travels easily throughout the but, so it’s not exactly a quiet escape either. (It might even echo sounds to make it louder) The restaurant didn’t improve the experience — overpriced, not very tasty, and the staff seemed distracted and not very welcoming. I never felt like a guest — more like an afterthought. The only real upside was the view, and yes, the shower water was hot and didn’t leak in the rain. It’s disappointing, because there’s so much potential here. With some genuine upkeep and better hospitality, this could be an amazing place. But as it stands, I just can’t recommend staying here.
