Log cabin in London feel. Loved it

More time to enjoy the cabin only stayed one night

Perfect location near Heathrow to collect family who arrived on an early morning flight

It's close to Heathrow with good public transport, 5 mins walk to bus stop. Host has a lovely neighbour who lent their laptop charger to me.

Nobody answered the door on our arrival. Host’s mobile phone went to answering machine. There was a message on the door for the deliveries, none for the guests. After frenetic banging, the host answered and complained to us about her perforated eardrum. We booked a twin room and got a room with a valet size bed (140x190cm) and a kid’s size camping bad with an oversized mattress on it that made me slip onto the floor when sat on the end of the bed. Thick dust under the bed, it clearly wasn’t hovered for months. No bedside tables, no space to put your bags. No wardrobe, just a few hangers on the curtain rail. Food (including raw chicken!) left on the top of the fridge. When we showed it to the host, she said “the cleaner left it there” and we received no apology as if this was the norm. Bathroom door didn’t shut (too big for the frame). Shower door was broken and fell onto my friend, I didn’t even try to use it. Shower door handle is cracked. No fan in the windowless bathroom. Toiletries are not sealed; they’re probably refilled with who knows what. Broken mirror. Missing handle on window. No fire safety: no escape route, you’ll need to open a slow electric garage door to exit while the rooms are located in wooden structures tightly built in the garden. Rooms are incredibly close to each other; not only fire hazard, but also no privacy, you can see the bed in the other room when sitting on your own bed. The bedroom door is tight to open due to high floor. None of the two lights at the bed worked, one of the spotlights on the sealing didn’t work. There’s more to talk about but I’m tired of listing them… Avoid this place.

Pam was so lovely to us and couldn't do enough. We enjoyed the communal little nook to enjoy some wine in the evening. A great little find!
