Labyrinth Gardens Guest House

We had a quick stay (just one night) after walking the Heaphy track. Ken and Steve are lovely hosts. Ken gave us a very warm welcome and a tour of the property. The spa pool was set in beautiful gardens and was just the thing after 4 days walking. The property is immaculate and super clean and the facilities are excellent. There is a shared kitchen, common room and bathroom but the property is large and this was not a problem. Ken was extremely accommodating when we were dealing with a cancelled flight of a friend. He happily accommodated her too and came over in the evening to make up an extra bed. He also found forgotten item and has arranged it to be returned. We appreciate his help and that nothing was a problem. Highly recommend the property and I look forward to staying again.

I can't believe one motel can be so neatly managed and wonderfully organised. I bet the owner must love the house so much that he put tremendous effort to keep it clean, organised or even sophisticated. It is a big garden we are living in. Not far from the town centre, easy to find, and wonderful to stay in. The stars are also great if you want to stay late and watch the sky. Will definitely stay again next time.

Everything! I mean EVERYTHING! The place the gears and the people

What an absolutely amazing place! Our room was so quiet and comfy and the shared toilet and shower was clean and spacious. The kitchen was so well stocked (spices, utensils, pans, etc). This guest house is better than the pictures! The views in and around the house are absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having my coffee out on the front deck with an amazing view of the mountains. The owner was eager to help make us comfortable and offer suggestions on what to do in the area :) thank you!!

Very thin walls. Could hear guests in adjoining rooms easily.
