Byers Guest house

The room was spotless, lovely and bright, beautifully decorated and the deck and spa were fabulous after a big day out walking and sight seeing. Parking was free and the Pub was only a few minutes walk away and served meals. Neptunes staircase about 5 minute walk along the canal and Easy walk along the lock. Sue and Hugh greeted us on arrival and suggest walks and local outings which was fabulous. Breakfast was also a bonus. Would definitely recommend this lovely guest house. Thank you 😀

Great location, had everything we need

Whirlpool was great - made loads of bubbles but can only be used until 9:30pm because of neighbors. Host was great. Location was a little smaller than expected and didn’t have the little electrical fireplace seen in the pictures. Breakfast oats, coffee and tea and a kettle were provided which was lovely. Room is attached to the main house which wasn’t a problem for us. Host was happy to heat something in the microwave for us. No fridge available. Please be aware that the bed is in fact a couch - however it has a very comfortable mattress on top so we didn’t have a problem with it.

Was smaller than expected. We only had a little bit of luggage so it wasn’t a problem, with more it would have been very tight.

We had a lovely stay. Very cosy little place out the back of Sue and Hugh's but with a separate entrance and privacy to come and go. Nicely appointed and comfy bed. Short drive out of town or you can run in in less than 30 mins along the loch which was cool! We didn't use the hot tub in the end but it looked lovely.

Sliding door was a bit stiff to open or close.

Lovely room with plenty of room, nice bathroom and great set up. Lived the breakfast oats!

Sue and Hugh were such amazing guests and the house is really nice and comfy ! We were here to begin our trek in the West Highland Way and enjoyed the calm and the hot tub ! I would recommend it

Location was good. Room was clean and shower was lovely

Room was tiny, difficult to get in and out of bed against the wall without disturbing partner. Pillows were lumpy. No non-dairy milk provided for tea (only place in 10 days that did not accommodate that request, so had to bring our own).
