Green Sunshine Homestay

Lovely little guesthouse, clean comfortable rooms, air conditioning and hot water worked well, wifi was super fast and the lady that owns in was so lovely helped us book tours and buses to next destination

Se que no depende del hotel pero al lado había un perro que no paraba de ladrar a las noches, pero esto con unos buenos tapones se soluciona.

It locate at a peaceful residential place, very quiet place. The room is spacious and have a good terrace which decorated nicely.

The shower water is too weak.

This provides a great escape from the city. It’s so green and relaxing.

We stayed for four nights and it was our oasis to return to after days of exploring the Mekong area. Free drinking water is provided, the rooms have air-conditioning and the outdoor area is really nice to sit and very peaceful. Jess even showed me many fruits from her garden and really upgraded my breakfast with that, thank you! She also knows the absolute gems in terms of restaurants and tours (worth to ask her about local Bánh Xèo and vegetarian hot pot!). She booked two Mekong tours for us and some other guys from the homestay and they were much better than the big touristy tours. She also organized our onward travel for us. Even the laundry service was really cheap, we ended up paying 70k for the laundry of 2 persons :D Scooter can also be rented at the homestay for 150k/day. The location is well off the busy areas next to the green but with good proximity to bigger streets and restaurants. It is easy to reach many spots by bicycle that she borrows for free for 3h/day. All in all, amazing experience I would definitely come back 😊😊

Jess was great, very helpful. Always there to answer any questions, nothing a problem. Cheap, good coffee and food not too far away.

We stayed here for 5 nights in total and it was a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of Ho chi Minh. The host family are so kind and Jess really went out her way to give us recommendations and help organise the market tour too. We ended up having to stay one extra night due to my other half getting food poisoning and Jess was very helpful, providing us with medicine, hot ginger tea and home made porridge, and checking in regularly how he was feeling. Very grateful! The rooms are basic but comfortable and more than value for money :) there is a mosquito net provided too. We would definitely recommend this place.

This is a quiet neighbourhood, quite far in the evening time from the main parts of Can tho - so be prepared for that. It didn't bother us as we knew it was going to be a bit quieter and that's what we were looking for. There is also often very loud karaoke in the evenings from neighbouring properties but that is just Vietnam 😊 it does not go on past 10pm. These are not complaints as neither thing bothered us but more of an FYI for other guests 🙂
