big room and great location

The cleanliness of the place was great. The location to the train station and centre was all close. The host responded when reached. I recommend this guest house to future travelers.

It would of been nice to of met the host upon check in as a time was requested when we were to arrive, and to explain things in the house or to see the host during the stay even if for a brief moment.

Location was fine

This is a terrible place to stay in Verona. We stayed here just as a one night stop-over before getting the train the next day and it stressed us out massively before flying home. The owner has another property called 3Jolie, which we mistakenly went to along with another person staying at our place, but the names are so similar this is bound to cause confusion! On top of this, Booking.com said that the property handled payment, but they did this remotely by trying to charge my card when they weren't with us. I received messages saying the transfer had been denied and this was because two factor authentication would not allow it to go through. The owner had no way of taking payment from my bank (even though it is one of the most common in the world) and so had to suggest either different cards, leaving cash in the room, or paying by paypal later on. We had been travelling all day and this was an immensely stressful thing to have to deal with having arrived at about 7PM. In the end we just had to leave cash in the room because there was no other easy option. The room itself was stiflingly hot because there is no air con (this was said in booking page), but it is exacerbated by the owners having put a massive fridge in the central room that blasts heat into the main area. The facilities were fine apart from this, but not nice and certainly not worth the money paid. This is a terrible place to stay and I highly suggest you just pay an additional 25 euro to be somewhere nice where you won't be immensely stressed by the way the property is handled.

Very good and helpful hosts. The place is very clean. Shared bathroom is no problem. It is not far from the main attractions. It is close to a train station and a bus station. Cafes and restaurants are nearby. On the corner of the street is the best gelateria, which I highly recommend.

only sockets on one side of bed worked curtain weren’t black out at all, very thin cash payment upon arrival only the manager didn’t speak English no aircon, just a fan that looked like it would fly off three pillows for two people blanket smelt like vomit loud as room was next to road
