Corncroft Guest House

It was a lovely old house in Witney not far from the main part of town x the room was cleaning provided what you needed x it was self check in x no staff and due to the lack of staff because of half term no breakfast was being served x

The mattress was very uncomfortable but apart from that everything was OK x

Wry nice and quaint right near the town and the pub opposite was lovely. The Indian restaurant Shaan was excellent. I cannot comment on the staff as I never saw anyone however still had nothing to complain about. We are will to stay there again in the summer.

Did not get breakfast in the morning they have facilities there but no one to serve.

The member of staff we spoke to and dealt with throughout our stay was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and well presented

The bedroom decor was looking very tired, and neither the bedroom or bathroom were very clean.

Upon arrival the room temperature was 16.5*. I turned up the one radiator in the roon to max. Also the one in the bathroom. It was reported to mgmt. and was given an additional douvet. It was a pretty uncomfortable nights sleeping. The second day's room temperature was slightly better but well below comfortable. The shower fixtures had mold/residue. The shower enclosure tile grout was moldy.

Very friendly host. Clean and comfortable room and bed. Nice big shower. The breakfast that my wife and I had was very good and exactly as we requested, which was exactly as we asked. We didn’t have the cooked breakfast, but from comments we heard in the dining room it was excellent. Very convenient for buses into Oxford and back. We don’t drive. Short walk into Witney.

Could have done with some additional pillows, but we didn’t ask for any, so they may have been available.

Breakfast was top marks and location was perfect quiet on the street out side yet still in town Center 😊

Different coffee in the room not a Nescafé fan
