Mont Rouge

The room was cosy with a great braai area overlooking the mountain and the garden.

The property was central to the town. Calm and peaceful

I didn’t like that the room was quite small and it wasn’t very clean. The bedding was dirty. Please could better measures be put into place where all the bedding -including the extra blankets be washed. The couches were a bit dirty too. Please could I ask that couch covers be washed regularly. The fire place in daisy room wasn’t working and it was smoking terribly Also we found pubic hair in the bed and that wasn’t very pleasant to see so our last night we didn’t get much comfy rest as we used the blankets to sleep on However the view and the fireplace at the attic was beautiful

It is a great location. Walking distance to the centre. Close to a hiking trail. It is calming. Perfect if you want a quiet place to unwind and relax. It's clean and it is beautiful, If you are into antiques. And you are guaranteed comfort. And the host made sure You are comfortable. Attends to You immediately. Plus there is Netflix!! Didn't expect that.

The road leading to the guest house. Not ideal for small cars. And it's a bit steep for walking. Don't leave food items on the counter, Ants will sure have a feast on them.

Fantastic place, host Riaan was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Quiet place, we were able to move around as we please and other guests were'nt loud

The methods to get fireplace working with minimal smoke in the room, Rian did give us a work around but too much effort and takes away from the essence of having the fireplace working There were a lot of ants that found their way into the sink / bin and the main table below the TV,

The fireplace was warm and cozy the location was good Riaan was helpful and friendly 😊 we really enjoyed the special treat that was given to us 😊 thank you...

Downstairs was veryyy cold if we may suggest the owner could add an aircon downstairs in the kitchen area...and also the fact that there was no tv was very disappointing especially for the kids

Very comfortable, Riaan was a fantastic host.

We wish the fireplace was more functional, but Riaan tried his best to sort it out for us and we do appreciate his efforts.
