Dun Ri Guesthouse

This is honestly not just one of best guest houses of Clifden but one of the best I have ever stayed in. My wife and myself love how clean and comfortable it is. The staff are friendly and the homely atmosphere is lovely. I will be back again very soon

We stayed at the Dun Ri Hotel in Clifden, after visiting Kylemore Abbey on a trip up the Wild Atlantic Way, and were pleasantly surprised! The entire hotel was as clean as the 4-star hotels that we stayed at and was freshly painted with precision. The beds were quite comfortable, and there was a charming reading lounge with great furnishings, including antique bookcases filled with good books, and even a piano. And the free breakfast was excellent too. I suspect the hotel is family owned and run with pride. When we checked out, I advised them to raise their prices because the other hotels that we stayed at, which cost less than 200 Euros, were dives. But the Dun Ri hotel is definitely not, and I would gladly pay more!

Water kettle with tea, coffee and cookies in common area available, comfortable bed, everything clean, parking available, good location- calm and yet close to town center, shops, restaurants. Good breakfast (incl. Assortment of fresh fruits).

Host not very talkative, charging sockets for phone and other electronics not easily accessable in the room.
