Majestic Apartments

This is a very comfortable and private living space in a suburb of Colombo, set in a traditional home surrounded by a vibrant green environment. It features lots of natural light, the bedroom air conditioned, with a large bed and small writing desk as well as small balcony. The host is always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the place as well as provide great recommendations. Note the that the rental is for a bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and that the kitchen, living room and dining room are shared with other tenants (if they are there). The shared spaces are quite sizable.

Only the bedroom is air conditioned, and the rest of the place gets quite hot. It is a considerable distance from the centre of town, and there is little in the way of services in the immediate area. Also, entrance to building is a bit complicated.

very poor customer service.

there was no staff to hand over or return keys. I was waiting for long to get service. minimal facilities. dirty appliance. moon light coming through back windows. no curtains for back window. outside people can see inside the room. very rude staff.

Initially we were met with a number of insects, lizards, and some of their remains. At some point we also saw a squirrel inside the room. Also note that electricity fees for Air Conditioning are charged separately - we haven’t noticed that at the time of booking

The interior space was fantastic! Very large for a studio apartment! Comfortable mattress, new AC machine, luminous and quiet with just the occasional birds in the garden!

A few extra kitchen items would have been handy! Another set of cutlery, plates and a pairing knife for fruit!
