AUTavendang was a basic riverside guesthouse. Mama (the owner) and her family were extremly friendly and happy to help with whatever, and made the stay a 10/10. While basic, the rooms had everything you needed, beds were comfortable and the restaurant was good and had excellent views of the river.
AUWe really enjoyed our stay at Tavendang and also extended out stay to 5 nights. The family is super friendly! Great value for money and good location out of the busy parts of Don Det, but still close enough to walk or cycle there. Just next to the French Bridge, where you can watch the sunset.
The room was great, though it would have been nice to have a mosquito net. Although, there werent so many mosquitos and also other bungalows had mosquito nets. I think, we could have also asked for one, if we thought it was really necessary:)
NLThis place stole my heart. Located on the sunrise side of Dondet, it’s the place where to relax and recharge. The room is clean and spacious, same goes for the bathroom. The terrace of the bungalow offers a lovely view directly on the Mekong river. Wifi is fast and stable, I could work and have online meetings without any issue (40/50 mbps). The family who owns the bungalows also owns the restaurant right in front. They are extremely friendly and willing to help for anything you may need. Laundry service is offered for 15k per kilo. The area is quiet — just few restaurants around. Across the bridge you can rent a bicycle for 15k per day. This area is about 30 minutes baking from the sunset side of the island. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will also definitely come back!

CAthere is a really nice view on the river, the family that owns the hostel is super friendly, the bungalows are comfortable and the food is good
it is far from the center of Don det but there is still some good restaurant on Don khon

FRNice bungallow, comfortable and good value. Great place to chill in the hammock! The bungallow is clean, and the guesthouse restaurant is good. Good place if you want to have peace.
Cold shower -- not a problem for me since it was hôtel enough outside, but might be a problem otherwise.
