Absolutely nothing - an idyllic stay

What a gem. At high tide the water laps centimetres from the living space. Gorgeous light fills the space at sunset if the light is right. Bayswater Marina and ferry a quick.walkmdown the road and so well positioned between Takapuna and Devonport.

strong gas leak at bedroom window woke up both with head dizziness . T.V, to unreliable.Radio didn't work. Host was arrogant and rude to my grandchildren when came to visit .were told to wait at road side for me .this mah I my option is an arrogant A Hole . Have reported the health and safety gas issue. Also woke up to two large gods swimming in the pool not 10 m. from our bedroom . Think again

The place is fab and I'll be back. Locaiton is good. quiet and peaceful and clseo to lots of amenities..

Hmm, I arrived in a deluge, down the long driveway. Vehicle couldn't be turned round due to drainage issues of storm, so I needed to back out of long drive to exit. Bit of a stretch but not insurmountable. The next day there was barely any water in teht aps. They shrugged their shoulders when I reported this, it turns out that there was a burst water main in the suburb due to storm. However no offer of water of discount was made. couldn't shower and barely able to get a morning cuppa. I asked for a discount if i returned, no reply received.

It's a wonderfully renovated boathouse, very well-appointed, clean and comfortable, fully equipped, and with a beautiful view over a tributary of the ocean inlet, with the ebb and flow of the tides. Wading birds, kingfishers, and other birds can be observed from the comfort of your armchair. Very friendly hosts.

Hosts were easy to communicate with. Perfect little quiet cottage with all the essentials!

Nothing ! Everything was well above expectations and a great first impression for New Zealand
