The Boat House

Location

The bed is to old and not enough bedding to make it feel nice. The old fridge makes a lot of noise throughout the night hard to sleep. The bathroom needs to be completely blocked off to the other rooms for more privacy the shower set up is odd and felt unsafe to step down out of a shower when you’re all wet.

Loved the location

The property was in a good location with excellent views. It was perfect for a few days away and in a quiet location. The interior was comfortable and relaxing.

The cooking facilities were on the basic side but adequate for our needs.

Loved the location and the style of the Boathouse. Left feeling rested and refreshed.

View from the room was magnificent. Looking over a peaceful inlet full of birdlife, to see busy freeway in the distance. Marked changes with the tide in or out. Tons of space. Water filter installed. Towel heater.

There is a very big step up into the shower. No extras like a cloth to wipe benches or tissues or washers. The TV needs Chrome cast to work and we couldn't get it to work.

Perfect location, beautiful boathouse

Initially we had booked x1 night but the facility looked to good. Just the type of thing we love. Something out of the ordinary. Booked another 2 nights. 3 in all. So glad we did. It was an ideal way to relax and start our holiday. Look out for the many Kingfishes - absolutely delightful. Tidal movements and other bird life kept us well entertained. Thankyou Rebecca and Franky for looking after us so well.

Nothing to be frank. We found the bus which certainly helped get around. Next time we would get a hire car. Circumstances with change of flight forced upon us at the last minute prevented doing it this time.
