Char Bungalows

It’s a great place for views only. i advice to book 1 night maximum to experience one of the most beautiful sunsets you’ll ever see. Next time i wouldn’t stay longer for every other reason.

Rooms were not clean at all. mattress was really hard. me and my girlfriend killed like 5 cockroaches during 3 nights. birds were shitting on our chairs and table on a balcony so our towels were all dirty. Food was really average and you don’t have many other choices there. except Pad thai. pad thai was really good there

Amazing location, long hilly road to get to it. So would need a bike or taxi, but the bungalows offer taxi service and are very friendly. The staff are really nice and helpful, very hard working. The bungalows are standard but very good, with large double bed, sofa, fridge... Don't need much more than that. Food was great, really recommend.

Only thing I would ask for, is as it's on the beach for little broom for the room. Not a massive issue.

Amazing view to wake up to every morning & perfect sunset.

Staff seemed miserable, one woman in particular came across as rude. Restaurant downstairs was a bad experience, staff had no idea which dish was for which table. Seemed like a chore to have us as customers there. Not very approachable. Ant infestation in bathroom and cockroaches too.

The bungalow was amazing, and the view was spectacular , the beach at the bottom was very beautiful and the restaurant there was great

Rented a scooter from company affiliated with the hotel, fantastic price and good service. All staff were very friendly and beautiful location

I didn’t realise the room was fan only and no aircon but this was my fault as I didn’t check the room amenities

It was in the middle of nowhere, the restaurant and bar had no change so it was difficult paying for things and we had to use it as there was nothing close . Would not recommend staying here if you don’t drive a moped, stay somewhere else near a shop and bars. We had to leave early otherwise we would have lost our minds. Also there were cockroaches in the fridge and worms in the bathroom.

The way the bungalows are situated is good.... no massive hills to get to youre room or anything... the view was awesome 10/10

We had a wonderful stay here! The bungalows are built into the rocks on a nice, quiet beach. There are snorkel masks available to see some decent snorkelling right off the beach. Jessie was very helpful and friendly! The food at the restaurant was delicious and decently priced with the best view, beautiful spot to watch the sunset! Banana Rock bar has tasty drinks and is such a cool spot! Skip the cookies restaurant next door, the food we ordered was full of ants and tasted old. A heads up for all travellers coming here, this is like authentic, traditional Thailand, years ago. You need to walk up steep boulders to get into your hut ( and carry heavy suitcases). There are cockroaches around which was fine, bugs don’t bother us. The common bathrooms have squat toilets and you need to be prepared with toilet paper. They do supply tp for your rooms and those are flush toilets. We stayed here with two kids age 5 and 6 and all had an amazing time! The location is about 5-10 minutes away from the pier/Sairee beach up and down very steep windy hills. A taxi is 400 baht each way so just keep that in mind.
