Vista mare è una bugia vista ferrovia (50mt ) e la vista strada (80mt) è la verità... Il rumore continuo di bus camion macchine . .il treno che passa 3/4 volte nella notte ti butta giù dal letto di tavole con materassino 5 cm spesso .se il prezzo fosse stato la metà sarebbe stato onesto e comprensibile ...

The owners were helpful and smiley. Room was basic but very comfortable for my needs. Clean large open bathroom and firm beds. Strong overhead fan. Large built in polished concrete table to spread out belongings. Clothes drying rack. Breakfast was good when I asked them to add some Sri Lankan food. Upstairs rooms so very private. There were very few tourists in this area. I went for a bike ride around the lake area behind which was nice. It is a 5 minute walk to small town with plenty of food options. Fruit shop across the main road is awesome. Beach is beautifully long and great sand. I would bus 5 minutes to Kalabana beach every morning and afternoon for waves.

All good. May need to ask for a blanket.

Almost no daylight in the room, no mosquito net despite lots of mosquitos, super loud fan, which was necessary to survive the heat but was disturbing when sleeping

How close it was to the beach and turtle hatchery

The property was unfortunately very dirty, including rat poo and stained bedding. Although the staff were friendly enough and breakfast was included, it was English rather than Sri Lankan (which was just jam toast and a cold egg) and we were advised to eat our breakfast in the alcove in our bedroom where we only had one chair. Such a shame as so close to turtle hatchery, the lake and the beautiful beach
