White House Hotel Mirissa

Room was very clean and comfortable bed. Good AC and nice bathroom. Location is close to the beach just a short walk across the busy road. Close to good restaurants.

Love this fabulous, friendly hotel off the main road so nice and quiet. Best WiFi we have had anywhere in Sri Lanka and a tv with English channels which was great when it rained. Room and bathroom were big and spotless with everything that could be needed other than a fridge. The breakfast was outstanding and worth every penny, bacon and eggs, toast and jam, yoghurt and huge fruit platter and coffee, excellent value. 4/5 minute walk to the beach!

I loved everything about my stay here. The location is very convenient-- a quick walk from the beach, with lots of cafes nearby (even a cute cafe right across with vegan ice-cream and coffee!). The hospitality was AMAZING- The sweetest hosts ever! The room was spacious, the AC made the room deliciously cool, and the shower was fantastic!

nice host, big room, good location, good wifi after it was fixed. two nice cats who loved to get a cuddle.

water pressure was quite low which could be better for washing clothes and sand. fan was missing the knob so it was quite hard to switch. wifi was not working well until the administrator gladly fixed it.

Location - The hotel is not located on the main street, but on a side street full of restaurants - not too quiet and not too noisy. From the hotel, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach and about 3 minutes to Coconut Hill by tuk-tuk. Excellent location! Staff - The hotel staff was lovely! Helped with every question and every request we had. We booked 2 nights and stayed another 2 nights because we really liked the hotel and Mirissa itself. Breakfast - Delicious breakfast, not varied but you don't need more than that- fruits, egg, toast bread and tea/coffee. Room - The room we got was very large, fully equipped, with a refrigerator and freezer that worked perfectly. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

When entering the hotel you have to take off your shoes. The floor in the lobby and in the rooms is not really clean, but in the room itself I went with flip flops so it was ok. The wifi didn't work very well.
