Golden Triangle House

Didn’t have breakfast, but the room was fine, bed comfortable, and the shower was excellent.

No staff to welcome you in, in fact never saw any staff ! All the instructions came via email, key left in secure box on the outside wall, not what I was expecting. Thankfully I met a lady who was also staying, who helped me with finding the code to get my keys, as I found it all a bit strange. Maybe this is how these things are done nowadays, but there’s no personal touch’s . You’re just left to find your own way. Room & bathroom were very good, just would have been nice to see a friendly face.

Especially the owner. I checked in around 12:30 AM as my train was delayed. I could not enter. He was patient and welcoming. He gave me slow instruction in the middle of the night. You can have coffee or breakfast in this stay.

I could not find the bath. I was in the hurry as I had to leave very early in the morning. Probably its in the upstairs. Otherwise its okay.

The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage The beds were comfy. No noise from the neighbourhood.

Place a good walk from town centre so catch a Taxi or Uber if you don't feel fit enough to walk.

The bedroom was a good size, and off-street parking

The house smelt of cigarette smoke; the carpets are old, the bathroom is old and dirty. The noise of another guest kept me up after a long day of work
