Domus Orestea Luxury Suites

From the moment we arrived Marco and his mum (the boss) made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them. So quiet and relaxed environment. Cannot fault anything about our stay. The breakfast was amazing every morning. Marco had lovely recommendations for restaurants and helped organise taxis.

Only downside is or could be location, depending on your requirements. Down a very narrow road. Approximately 25 minute walk to Mondello Beach. Also a definite drive or taxi to Palermo.

We stayed at Domus Orestea Luxury Suites for 4 nights, and it was the best service we have ever experienced. Before we arrived, Marco, the host, called us and personally showed us the room where we would be staying. It was such a great experience, especially when booking through Booking.com, because it made us feel very comfortable and welcome from the beginning. Marco and Monica are truly pleasant, friendly, and professional hosts. Marco gave us amazing advice about places to visit, the best restaurants, and many useful local tips. Monica was incredibly welcoming and kind, and she suggested excellent Sicilian wines for us to try. The room was wonderful, spotless, and had a beautiful garden view. The villa itself has incredible decoration and a charming ancient Sicilian atmosphere that makes the stay even more special. The swimming pool was lovely, and the breakfasts were always fresh and delicious. We highly recommend Domus Orestea Luxury Suites, and we will definitely come back again. Marco and Monica, thank you so much for giving us the best holiday. You are the best 😎

We had such a great time staying with Marco and Monica. Marco is honestly a legend: super friendly, always ready to help, and just fun to be around. We booked the place because we were going to a Palermo match, and it turned out he’s a huge fan too. He even arranged a ride for us to and from the stadium, which made the whole trip even better. The stay was perfect. Comfy room, great pool, delicious breakfast, and an ideal location. The vibe was great and I’d recommend staying with Marco and Monica to anyone visiting Palermo.

A beautifully decorated and maintained property with charming owners who prepared a delicious and varied breakfast each morning. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and provided good recommendations for our visit to Palermo as well as local restaurants. Our room was a very good size with a large en-suite bathroom which had direct access to garden and pool.

Familiär geführtes und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltete saubere Unterkunft. Die Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich sofort abgeholt und gut aufgehoben. Jedes Anliegen wird sofort ernst genommen und, wenn notwendig, eine Lösung gefunden (Transferorganisation, früherer Check In, Poolreinigung nach Sturm, Gepäckunterstellung nach Check Out, Nachsendung eines vergessenen Kuscheltieres unserer Tochter, …). Unsere fast 2-Jährige Tochter hat zudem fantastisch geschlafen und wir alle haben die Zeit, vor allem und sehr viel am Pool, wirklich genossen. Durch die zugehörige Terrasse unseres Zimmers konnten wir hier auch am Abend ein paar schöne Stunden verbringen. Unsere Tochter konnte rein und rauslaufen, so wie es ihr gefiel. Wir bedanken uns für die tolle Zeit!

Ontbijt was verzorgd en ruim in assortiment

Alles in de koelkast van drank aan zwembad was over datum , de uitleg over de kamer keuze stemt niet overeen met de foto en uitleg op booking , compleet verschillende kamer dat zijn prijs niet waard is .

Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel rundum wohlgefühlt. Unser Zimmer sowie das Badezimmer waren großzügig geschnitten und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück: frisch zubereitet, abwechslungsreich und einfach köstlich. Die angenehme Atmosphäre am Morgen hat jeden Tag perfekt beginnen lassen. Auch ohne Mietwagen war unser Aufenthalt völlig unkompliziert. Der Strand ist mit etwas Anstrengung zu Fuß erreichbar, und für Ausflüge nach Palermo, Cefalù oder zum Flughafen haben Marco und Monica stets zuverlässig und zu fairen Preisen Taxis organisiert. Insgesamt haben wir hier wunderschöne Urlaubstage verbracht und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir hätten uns gerne Fahrräder gewünscht, geben aber zu, dass Sizilien nicht wirklich auf Fahrradfahrer zugeschnitten ist.
