Very quiet area. Slept well. Easy to get to town by public transport or walking if you have more time.

Kitchenette, though very useful, had very little surface area to do food prep. Also, the bathroom was a little smelly.

Very quiet and warm place. Good staff and location. Recommend 10/10.

Good location for my meetings in a nearby office complex

The hostess is very hard to communicate with in English or Russian. My room was entered without permission whenever I wasn't there – obvious by towels and clothing having been moved around. I stayed here a second time and the hostess actually entered the room twice while I was sleeping to water plants. The next morning their daughter came banging down the door at 9am; screaming at me to pay. I was not willing to pre-pay 900€ for a month before discussing these issues with her husband who was not available at the time. As other reviews have mentioned, the amenities are outdated: uncomfortably squeaky floors, old towels, gross bathrooms, inadequate bedding. This is basically a low-end hostel priced at 50€ per night. There are very nice modern hotels for the same price in the downtown/port area.
