Shoreline Grand

Fué todo un acierto alojarnos aquí. Las dos chicas que nos atendían eran un verdadero amor, y siempre estaban pendientes de que no nos faltara nada, y de hacernos sentir supercuidados en todo momento. La habitación amplia , sencilla pero sin faltar un detalle para estár muy cómodos: Múltiples enchufes, para cualquier tipo , buena y amplia ducha , camas grandes, grandes toallas de baño y toallas para la playa. En la habitación teníamos café y pedimos té, y nos trajeron una caja entera a nuestra elección. Teníamos gratis bicicletas, que si bien alguna necesita un repaso, algo normal teniendo en cuenta el uso constante que tienen, a nosotros nos vinieron de maravilla, y las usamos todos los días para recorrer la isla. Tambien teníamos las aletas y equipo de snorkel gratis . Teníamos media pensión, y en 6 noches, no repetimos cena ni una vez. Nos daban arroz frito con gambas, pescado local con deliciosa salsa, marisco, pollo.... siempre con frutas variadas y muy bien presentadas, como todo lo demás. Para desayunar siempre pedíamos el delicioso desayuno maldivo, pero era imposible comértelo todo, y somos de buen comer. Un día les comentamos a Ira y a Sayu, las dos maravillosas chicas de Bali que nos atendían, que al día siguiente, muy temprano, cogeríamos el ferry para visitar otra isla, y aunque insistimos en ir andando al puerto, porque eran unos minutos solo a pié, a la mañana siguiente, nos vino a recoger el coche eléctrico para acercarnos al puerto, a poco más de las 6 de la mañana, y el muchacho nos recibió con la mejor de las sonrisas. Nos preparaban el delicioso desauno en tipo picnic para que nos lo llevaramos a la excursión, y la sorpresa, es que a la hora de volver en el ferry de la tarde, Ira, Sayu y el coche eléctrico nos estaban esperando para recogernos. Y mil detalles más que hicieron de esta experiencia algo memorable. Conocimos al dueño, y era un hombre tambien muy agradable. Mil gracias por todo. Siempre os recordaremos, y a tan precioso país.

Nos gustó todo, el hotel y su entorno. La isla de Thoddoo es preciosa. Tuvimos la suerte de conocer otras islas locales, pero la mejor con diferencia es esta, Sus playas tienes el mejor snorkel, de tortugas, cientos de peces diferentes, morenas.... solo con llegar a la playa y meterte al agua en la orilla. Además , al ser la isla agrícola, es todo muy verde, llena de cultivos, palmerales, puestos con deliciosos helados caseros de frutas exóticas locales....

Staying at Shoreline Grand made our trip to Thoddoo the perfect non-resort Maledivan experience. The owner is welcoming, discreet and helpful. The very clean rooms have everything you need in them (and if not, you can ask for it). Matresses are very comfy and we slept well on them. The staff Ira and Sayu and Indah were absolutely gorgeous. Their service mentality is very hard to top. They are extraordinarily friendly, thorough and clean (they even did our laundry). So this stay was not only an unforgettable experience because of the beauty of this local island, but also because the staff at the guesthouse made us feel welcome at any time of the day. Since we were traveling with three hungry teenagers we were on full board. The food was so delicious and there was always more than we could eat. I totally recommend the Maldivian breakfast and going on the night fishing trip. I know the bikes are not the best. But the island is so small, you can actually walk anywhere by foot. And they were good enough for my kids to explore the (flat) island on them. We would definitely come again!

Tot. L'habitacio molt neta, els llits comodíssims, el lavabo espaiós. Molts serveis i accessoris: aletes, ulleres, laundry, estenedor, tovallola de platja... (Tot inclòs). L'staff de treballadores molt atentes, gentils, i ens han fet passar una estada molt acomodada.

Die Zimmer waren zweckmäßig eingerichtet, geräumig und sehr sauber. Der Service war außergewöhnlich gut, das Essen ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Awesome place with a really family atmosphere. There are 2 amazing girls taking care of the place, they made our stay even more enjoyable. We had all-inclusive and the food was always fresh and delicious with a nice variety. For breakfast always either Maldivian/Continental/Sandwich to choose from. Local fresh fruits available every day. There are 2 bikini beaches on Thoddoo, both beautiful and clean. We were also invited for the sunset fishing with the owner of the place. We had a barbecue made of the fresh fish we had caught afterwards. The bikes can be borrowed which is super useful to wander around the island - some of them are not working 100% and the bike chain fell off a couple of times, but that is the only a small negative thing to say. Snorkeling equipment is available for free and so is the laundry service, if needed. Thank you for an amazing stay!😊

All was perfect.

The room was nice with a big TV. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff (two girls) were extremely friendly, helpfull and available for any questions. Maldivian and continental breakfasts were available. Everything is near the accommodation - restaurants, shops, beaches. Highly recommend.

Staffs. There were two ladies and it was evident that they were sincere in addressing to our needs. My best compliments for them.

If we compare it to a hotel, there may be issues compared to our expectations. But, it's a guesthouse. So, whatever service a guesthouse is likely to provide, they provided it. So, no complaints. There is a slight smell in towels, sheets due to the water there but I was told it's same for the whole island. Nothing that you can't live with...

It's a nice staing in a cosy atmosphere. The owner and staff are amiable and ready to help in any request. Rooms are clean and big enough to keep an entire family. There are different variants of accommodation. U can either get bb/hb or fb pack with a simple but good cooked food. The guest provides a transfer from Male to Thoddoo and back for an extra price. All the excursions u can either get through the owner or some agencies presented on the island. This combination of service, location and nature is worthy variant to have a splended rest. Recommend! P.S. If you are not indifferent person, taking into account that it is the island, some goods difficult to get. It'll be very kind of you if u bring something what they need.

There is lacking of shelfs and racks for towels in a bathroom but u can get over it.
