Welcome. Location. Room. Marin is truly kind and helpful.

We booked for two nights to recover from a long journey before going off to the islands. Marins Home is a 25 minute taxi ride from Phuket airport (800bht). It is located off a busy road, but this is a real oasis of calm and we weren't bothered by traffic noise. The rooms are clean, beautifully decorated, and with a real attention to detail. The garden and birdsong are an added bonus. Marin is a welcoming, friendly, and very helpful host, and we'd happily stay here again.

The host family is very hospitable and provide a lots help for me. Location close to the airport and BangTao beach. The house is an old wooden house but of good quality

A music bar across the street makes loud noises late at night. According to the landlord, they reported the problem but were unable to solve it.

I had a wonderful stay at Marin’s home. It is a very peaceful property, set back from the road with lots of plants and greenery which gives it a really tranquil atmosphere. The first 3 nights I stayed upstairs in the main house, which was full of character and had some open-air living spaces which I loved. I then extended my stay as I loved it so much!, and stayed an extra 3 nights in one of the more modern rooms. This was also a lovely room, beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Both rooms were really well equipped and had excellent AC and wifi. Bottled water always available, and restaurants very nearby. Also a launderette next door, and a washing line at Marin’s which I made use of! Marin was very kind and hospitable, and went out of her way to ensure I had a great stay. I would definitely return!

The room in the main house, being older and made of wood, was slightly dustier, and as I have an allergy the newer room suited me better. But I loved both!

Marin is super lovely and thoughtful. You can’t find this quality at this price in Bang Tao. It’s conveniently located if you want to walk to the night market shops and restaurants. You will still need a bike or car for beaches. Marin rented her lovely motorbike to me couldn’t be happier.
