River Daze

The spaciousness, cleanliness and beautiful view were a real surprise. Ros and Jean were excellent hosts going the extra mile making for a perfect stay. A real gem situated in a stunning location and resort!

Nothing that comes to immediate memory, if anything a King size bed would have made this a 5-star accommodation, however, 4.9 stars 🌟 is near on perfect!

Amazing place with a great host. Beautiful and spacious apartment with great views. Ros & Jéan had thought about everything to make this place comfortable and practical. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was even better, and the view from the garden was stunning. I wish we could have stayed for longer.

River Daze is an exceptional venue. The apartment is super comfy and the view is beautiful. The hosts Ros and Jean are extremely helpful. My family had a super holiday and we definitely will be back. Great value for money.

Our interaction with River Daze started minutes after our online booking was confirmed, when our host Ros sent us a hearty welcoming note, with clear directions on how to find the property. Early on our DOA, she again made contact with us, wishing us a safe journey. Understandably, we immediately felt at home from the moment we met her and hubby Jéan in person. The property is easy to find and located in an area with plenty nature reserve like elements, like small buck, plenty different bird species, and a general feel of peace & calm. From every window of the apartment there are special and spectacular views changing as the days progressed. The apartment is conveniently situated & separated from the main house, yet easily accessible to the hosts if need be. We were in awe of the plentiful practical and detailed aspects of not only the inside of the apartment, but also the surrounding manicured garden. The apartment is really spacious, beautifully & tastefully decorated, well-equipped with quality furnishings throughout, and even season appropriate (Xmas) candy to die for. Load shedding (yes, that dreaded beast!) is fortunately not an issue here, courtesy of our very practical and considerate hosts. The area and apartment lend itself to a sense of tranquility, away from the hustle & bustle of the main roads, business and beach areas, although everything is really easily accessible whether by vehicle or on foot. Our hosts, Ros & Jéan, were super attentive to our every need, took us through the apartment upon our arrival, explained the use of amenities, were always available and ready with advise on the area, sightseeings (and whatever else we enquired about), supplying us with fire wood, cleaning the braai grid, etc. Jéan even picked up a problem with, and on top of it, also fixed our rental car battery, relieving us from a potentially stressful situation during our well-deserved break.
