Silver Moon Haveli

The location is superb, right in the city centre but tucked away in a calm, pleasant street . The decorative little items around the house gave it a nice Haveli touch. And everything for necessary needs is available from a water kittel to cutlery. The eggs ,bread, and butter with milk provided by the hosts were a nice touch.

The location of the haveli was perfect, in the centre of the old town, a couple of minutes walk from the city palace and on a small street so it was quiet and peaceful. Chandra (the manager) was very helpful and took us to buy textiles from his friend and arranged an auto to take us to the train station on our last day. The space was large and functional, we especially enjoyed having access to the roof for the view and to relax in the evening as it was cool up there. Kitchen is great with all required utensils and we were provided with filter water. We were there in summer and though there was AC in the room it was still stuffy and it was nice to get some fresh air. As the owner also owns a hotel (Neem Tree) you can go there for massage (1500 INR for full body 60 mins) or to use the pool (for 500 INR). There are two double beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed and one double bed are hard (more comfortable for us and good for the back) whilst the other is very very soft.

It would be nice to have mosquito screens on the windows so we could open them at night to get some fresh air (but then the view from the window wouldn't be as nice so it's a trade off). The AC system is also maybe a little small for the space and made the air very dry/created some breathing issues (but that's maybe just a problem for us who are not used to using AC). Otherwise all good, we had a great time.

Location absolutely perfect. Apartment is fulfil with all needs. Terace is great. Very pleasant stay

Quiet noisy in night due to street dog but not a big issue.

Room and facilities

The host Helena is very welcoming and accomodating, communication is excellent too. The flat was very clean and nicely decorated, everything worked. Helena even left some bread, eggs, butter and jam for us! My personal fav are the wiiiiiiide windowsills in the bedrooms :)
