Melali Bingin

Our stay at Melali was the best in Bali. Liam, Elise and their team were so lovely. We really felt at home here. Everything was so well thought out and just all around gorgeous. We loved the living area and the pool. They had excellent recommendations for everything in the area and we had so much fun exploring the beaches and restaurants. We are still dreaming of our breakfasts here!

We loved the communal breakfast! A lovely place to sit by the pool, with likeminded travellers and a delicious meal! The included breakfast was absolutely delicious. The room was spacious, relaxing and absolutely spotless. We rented scooters directly from Melali which was very helpful (and they even offered us a lesson!). The owners were lovely and very knowledgeable about the area - recommending amazing places to eat, beaches to visit and places to shop.

A place where it felt like home. Loved the shared space where all the guests can have breakfast at the same table. It is a great way to meet new people and share our experience of Bali. The staff is very friendly and make delicious breakfast ! This area of Bali is very chill and relax surfer kind of vibe - great if you want to feel disconnected. Liam and Elise provide a lot of helpful information about activities, spa and food places they know. It was our last days in Bali and made it harder to go back home.

The property itself is stunning. The layout is incredibly well thought out and gives you that “paradise” feel as soon as you enter the grounds. Liam and Elyse, the owners , were so accommodating throughout, they are Bali encyclopaedias! They organised all of our transfers as well as giving great meal recommendations around the area for everyone’s budgets. Liam arranged a moped for us at a moments notice and made us feel incredibly welcome from the outset. It’s secluded, yet in the heart of uluwatu so getting around to all the famous spots is incredibly simple. It feels like a home away from home and we would certainly like to return one day!

When we had to leave it

A lovely, peaceful spot that felt like a real oasis. As a solo female traveller I felt super welcome and safe here. Bonus points for having one of the tastiest breakfasts I had in Bali.

Everything was perfect! Everyone was very friendly, the breakfast was really good, everything was clean. We loved and enjoyed it!

LOVED IT!! Liam en Elise were amazing hosts. It felt like we were just part of their home, which was so nice! The room was perfect, including the shower and the beds. Every detail has been thought of. The staff were really great, very friendly and always good service. The breakfast was delicious, we wish we could eat it every day. We rented a motor bike with them and they had good recommendations for restaurants and beaches e.g. It was amazing and would definitely recommend it to everyone. We will come back!
