Rock Pool Residence

Wir haben 6 Nächte in dieser Unterkunft verbracht und zwei Zimmer gebucht – und es war rundum eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Unsere Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich unschlagbar. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und gemütlich, und der Garten ist einfach bezaubernd. Besonders toll ist, dass man dort Affen, viele verschiedene Vögel und sogar Warane beobachten kann – ein echtes Naturerlebnis. Der Strand ist in nur etwa 2 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, und in kurzer Laufweite gibt es mehrere tolle Beachbars. Trotzdem war das Essen in der Unterkunft für uns das Beste. Auch das Frühstück ist perfekt und wird mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Geen wifi bereik en we wilden een keer eten op locatie en toen was de plek vol en moesten we eten op onze eigen plek, dat was wel een domper..

The location is great, a tranquil place right next to the beach. You have lots of animals nearby. The staff is friendly.

Some things in the room and bathroom are a bit outworn. The electricity went off from time to time. But thats absolutely ok for the very reasonable price

De locatie is perfect. Je staat zo op het strand met een beetje doorlopen naar rechts een hele gezellige strandtent. Het personeel is behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Voor het ontbijt moet betaald worden en dat is prima. In de directe omgeving van deze plek is weinig te beleven. Er zijn wat piepkleine tentjes waar je prima kunt eten maar waar je wel vaak de.enige bent. Tangalle is echt nog wel wat verder. Wel een tuk-tuk nodig.

Slechte wifi en geen airco maar fans. We hadden zelf niet goed gelezen natuurlijk maar geen airco in die hitte is een uitdaging vinden wij.

Everything!!! Just like people before said, nice location, quiet and close to the beach. Had the smaller hut, with a fan. That worked perfectly fine for us and we slept like a rock! It was an amazing relaxing stay.

Extrem Freundlich obwohl ich zu spät geglommen bin beim Late Check in

The host really made our stay so special. Immediately we were greeted with a smile and offered a coconut each, which were absolutely delicious! The room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed! The room was quite hot but the ceiling fan did the job! The accommodation is only a few minutes walk to the beach, which was very quiet and absolutely beautiful. We had a delicious breakfast prepared by the host. A proper Sri Lankan feast, with tea/coffee, hoppers, dahl, sambol and fruit from his own garden! The host stayed to chat to us about his life which was lovely and very interesting. His welcoming nature was what really made our stay. He then offered to drive us all the way to our next stop in Hiriketiya and even stopped off at the blow hole on the way. This was extremely generous of him as it was close to an hour long journey. A beautiful stay and one we will remember for a long time!!

No WiFi in the bedroom but this wasn’t too much of an issue. The WiFi in the reception area worked great!
