Everything! The apartment had amazing energy and so perfect to learn about Geoffrey Bawa’s work and life and legacy. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Walking distance from The gallery and close to many good restaurants, shopping areas, and GB’s foundation.

The design

Geoffrey Bawa’s Colombo residence is beautifully preserved with stunning artefacts and art work all placed in their original location . It is living maintained by the trust and I was grateful to experience the warm welcome and hospitality of the staff , Rohana, Priyantha and Sujani who prepared an excellent breakfast of spring hoppers and curries . It was a memorable stay and I will definitely return with my family to share the experience with them . The tour of the house was brilliant and I really felt the essence of the legendary Mr Bawa and his genius which was palpable in every corner .

I stayed in both guest suites and prefer my stay in the room on the ground floor. It was like a private apartment and beautifully appointed . The second floor suite was larger but the bathroom was too small and could use a renovation. Still I was grateful for the experience of staying in both rooms , each different with plenty of charm and space.

コロンボという都会の真ん中にあるバワの自邸に泊まれるという驚き ４軒並びの長家ゆえの外光が入るコートヤードがいくつかあって、熱帯らしい雰囲気が素敵 全体の感じはミドセンチュリー、それに中国製の陶器、いろいろなアーチストの作品、バワ自身作の家具・・・時代もテイストも異なるものが混在してるけど、見事に調和して完全に一つのバワ空間が広がる素敵な美の世界 ダイニングルームでの朝食は、バワに招待されたゲストになった気分

宿泊していてもバワの寝室は非公開 一日数回あるガイドツアーに一緒に参加しないと（宿泊者は追加費用はかからない）、扉を開けてもらって寝室を覗くことができない 知らないと見過ごしてしまうので注意が必要な点

空間が素晴らしかった。 バワの生活をそのまま体験できるような空間で、 インテリアや置いてあるもの全てが素敵でした。

特にないです。スタッフの方のホスピタリティも素晴らしかったです。
