North Inn - Guesthouse and Cabin

Very clean, good beds, nice kitchen and familyroom.

Very nice location, has everything you need for a short stay.

Exceptional facilities. I booked a room. There are only about 3-5 rooms in the apartment (if your booking a room, the cabins ofc are private). The rooms share a wc, shower, a kitchen with everything you need and even a TV area. You only share the area/facilities with other travelers wich is really cosy :) The shared area is also stylish, clean and roomy. And the view, ohh what a great one ! My room had a view over the ocean and mountains. Love the location, short drive to the city (Akureyri) and yet a country vibe in a peaceful area. Also, I didn't get back pain, my back was fine. Stayed for 2 nights, but I often get back pain from hotel beds. The bed was good :)

Very clean and updated interior. Well stocked kitchen for self cooks. Bathrooms clean. I was shocked it was a shared bathroom but because it was relatively clean it wasn’t as gross as I imagined. Water views were nice and they had a nice open eating area in kitchen and off.

Room was extremely small for two. Didn’t have a dresser or a place to place luggage. Power outlet was placed over bed and it wasn’t recessed so power converter hung haphazardly potentially could fall on one’s head. It was missing a place ledge or small shelf to place make up. Didn’t realize that it was a shared bathroom or that it’s self check in and had a panic attack trying to contact them with no WiFi or cell service. They did respond and get me the right info though so not as bad. They also pre-sent info that I didn’t notice so that’s on me.
