The room was spacious and included a kitchenette, the bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was also perfect, within easy walking distance of the city center and ferry, and an easy walk to the main street if you want to grab a taxi

I had a bit of a hard time figuring out how to enter the hotel, at first (I had to physically ring a bell using a rope), but I contacted Teresa and she was very helpful.

Very convenient and quiet place.

Teresa and Booking (the lovely dog) were the perfect hosts. Teresa's years of experience in hospitality shows and she was most accommodating in every way. The room was off a shared kitchen area, but was mostly quiet. The shared courtyard was the perfect spot to relax after exploring. The casa is across the road from a lovely bar and restaurant. We enjoyed a gin at the distillery next door.

Great location, close to everything but in a quite street, the room was amazing, with a small kitchen and a huge bed. We loved the dog Booking!

The room was lovely. The mini kitchenette was useful and the balcony comfortable. The kitchen facility downstairs was great too. The location was superb.

There was confusion about my room choice when I arrived which caused a delay. The restaurant across the way at Classic Restaurant was very helpful and called the manager. It got worded out in the end. The central garden was nice but had some broken pottery in the corner that I think would have looked better cleaned up. The room had no TV which I didn’t mind, but I wonder if some people would mind this?

- Teresa is great - she let us check in early, explained the facilities, and offered advice on where to go for taxis etc. - Location is killer! Great restaurants & bars within easy walking distance. - Peaceful (the nearby Destileria had loud music but it ended by 9pm) and cute, clean property. - AC works great!

Teresa clearly works really hard on the hotel so I feel bad to have 'cons' but guests should be aware of some things: - The Family Studio is advertised as having a "well-fitted kitchenette" where meals can be prepared, as well as a mini-bar. Unfortunately, there is no mini-bar (at least not when I was there in Dec 2025), and "the kitchenette" is pretty bare bones (see photos). There is a microwave (no splatter cover), a coffee machine (drip/filter type), and a fridge with 1 jug of water (refillable in the main kitchen). No stovetop, no pots and pans, no cooking utensils and no dish towels, just 2 dinner plates, 2 smaller plates, 2 coffee cups (with saucers) and 2 water glasses, plus a few knives/forks/spoons. This works for re-heating meals but I would not call this 'preparing meals'. There is a shared kitchen but that doesn't have cooking facilities either (but there is a kettle, toaster, fridge there). - No bath mat (bring your own, it gets very wet as there is only a shower curtain.

Allowed early check in! Great location, polite host, common areas, shared kitchen, access to drinking water, coffee and tea.

A very old and uncomfortable mattress (couldn't sleep) and uncomfortable cheap pillows, tiny room, everything felt old and outdated.
